All the teachers/ tutors are advised to follow the following guidelines while they teach any student at Hanza Academy:
1. If a student books a demo class with you, then please ensure that you attend the demo class. In case of unavoidable circumstances, if you have to cancel the demo class, then you can do that 2 hours before the scheduled time of the class. In case a teacher fails to attend the demo class, it will result in a penalty.
2. If a teacher is not able to attend a demo class, then he/ she can reschedule the demo class, after discussing and deciding on a convenient time for both the teacher and the student. In case you are not able to contact the student then the teacher may contact Hanza Academy via mail or call, to reschedule the demo class. Teachers must ensure to reschedule the demo class at least 2 hours before the demo class starts.
3. In case a teacher is not able to attend an online class, the she must inform the student at least 2 hours before the class. Failing to do so will lead to a penalty. The teacher must also reschedule the missed class to convenient time after discussion with the student or Hanza Academy. Teachers must also reschedule a class, if a student fails to appear for the class. The same is to be done, after discussion with the student. In case a teacher faces any difficulty in doing so, then they are to contact Hanza Academy.
4. Teachers may not ask the students and their parents for their contact numbers or any other details. Teachers are also not supposed to share their own contact numbers or any other personal details with the students or their parents.
5. Teachers must not accept any kind of payment from the students or the parents, for the online classes, outside of the payments paid to them by Hanza Academy.
6. If a teacher is found not following any of these guidelines, then penalties may include deduction of payment or suspension of their teacher’s account temporarily or permanently.
7. The teachers must ensure that they are logged in to their Hanza Academy account, 5 minutes before a class is scheduled. It will give them time to be prepared for the class.
8. Teachers must ensure that the duration of every online class is 60 minutes.
9. Teachers must not take an online class with an Hanza Academy student at any other platform/ website/ app, apart from Hanza Academy website. In case the class is taken at any other platform then, the class will not be counted/ considered by Hanza Academy in the total number of classes.
10. In case a teacher comes across any technical problem/ difficulty while taking the online class at Hanza Academy website, then he/ she must contact & inform Hanza Academy for the same. In the aforementioned situation the teacher must not take the class at any other website/ app/ platform.
11. In case an online class does not take place, because of a technical problem with Hanza Academy website, then the teachers will have to reschedule the class after a discussion with the student or Hanza Academy.
12. Teachers have to ensure that they keep their cameras on for the entire duration of the online class.
13. Teachers can conduct online tests, to evaluate the performance of the students.
14. Teachers are requested to share the performance evaluation reports of students, with the parents, after every test.
15. Hanza Academy reserves the right to suspend a teacher’s account, if the teacher is found sharing contact information with any student during online class, via text or any other means of communication.
16. Hanza Academy reserves the right to suspend a teacher’s account if he/ she is found giving online classes to an Hanza Academy student outside of the Hanza Academy platform.
17. Hanza Academy reserves the right to suspend a teacher’s account if he /she is found encouraging students to take online classes from him/ her outside the Hanza Academy platform, without informing Hanza Academy Learning Pvt. Ltd.
18. Hanza Academy reserves the right to suspend a teacher’s account if he/she is found asking for or accepting any payment from the students or parents.
19. If a teacher, for any reasons, fails to deliver the booked number of classes to a student, then the fee/ payment of classes delivered by the teacher will be released or forfeited as per the following:
If a teacher is unable to deliver the total number of classes booked by a student, then the teacher must inform Hanza Academy of the same through mail (info@hanzaacademy.com) or call (9569040631).
If a teacher doesn’t inform Hanza Academy about the inability to deliver the total number of classes booked by a student and, also doesn’t respond to three consecutive attempts of communication by Hanza Academy team, in the form of mail, call or texts, then the entire fee (fee for delivered as well as undelivered classes) of the said teacher will be forfeited.
If the teacher has delivered at least 60% of the booked classes and communicates the inability to complete the total number of classes booked by the student to Hanza Academy, the payment/ fee for the delivered classes will be paid on pro rata basis.
